in the games above the teacher focus about main thing is to motivate students always and go be on task. in the first game she included some thing students like it which is Play the world cup game which include six questions about about to teams( two countries played in the recent games)and divide the volunteers into two groups one for Argentine and one for Croatia then she started asking them questions about and make a competition between these two groups. also this game designed as choose the correct answer. the other game is Nearpod game which also include multiple choice questions and these questions about some personal information and she made a hot competition between volunteers and at the end one volunteer won the game ( WAY) also in nearpod teacher can check the result of each students. making games with ranking is more motivated to students. In the third game she made an escape game designed as chicken farm in slides and in each slides you have box to add your question and under the box you can add options to answer the question. digital escape game is also made on google sites and google form. you will answer the questions but if the is not correct you cannot proceed. Morover teacher made these games and apply them on powerpoint.
these games is very useful according to my opinion and it help teacher and students a lot. it motivate students and encourage them to stay in way of learning. sometimes students like these games related to what they interact or like in life to motivate them and to achieve the goal of education using things they interest in it. so these games is engage student to be on task and avoid the boring moments while studying.
sometimes teacher faced a lot of problems on using technology. for example if you are with students on zoom, sometimes the connection is lost and this interrupt the class and this affect on the knowledge and on students. also it increase the time lost.
some students always face a problem of accessing the zoom meeting due many reasons like connection. so students enters the class late and this will not make them enter lesson climate directly and will make some misunderstanding cases.
google form is one of tools that teachers used in assessment. so make a test to assess my student using google form is very helpful and useful. so make test and grade it automatically after submitting it will help the teacher to minimize the time instead of grading it by hand writing and this will make some times to do a mistake like when counting grades.
Google classroom have many benefits. teacher can send assignment through it to students to solve it and submit it. also teacher can explain a lesson and record it then send it to google classroom and students can access it and they can benefit from it.
this application can make a live meeting between teacher and students to explain a lesson and every body can ask question which this application make a climate similar to the class at school.
technology now is known as a part of children life, they know in perfect way about how using technology because they addicted to it and spent more time on it. so, integrating technology in teaching is a step of development in teaching because you add some thing students like. integrating technology is like motivation for students. also it make students feels comfortable from using the additional ways of teaching like writing the lesson on board and students copy it which this way nowadays is not useful. for teacher side, technology help teachers a lot, it help them to achieve a goal and understandable by students by using videos , posters, images and a lot of thing. also making group to send assignment to all students online to avoid student opinions that they did't hear that we have assignment on class. so sending assignment online make every thing clear to students and they will not have any argument.
Create my own blog, to add my work on it , my researches and adding explained lessons to e accessed by students or any teacher needs some information about specific topic. Also i learned that i can assess my student online like using google form and student can know their grades directly after submitting the test if the teacher want this. Moreover, using google docs and how can i benefit from it like if i want group work between students to make search about specific topic for example and in this way teacher can know who student work and who didn't by looking to version history and teacher can give grade for each student according ti his/her work in this group.
It helpful for teachers and it decrease some tired. every thing in course EDU 511 is useful. we learned about many applications and sites that help all not teachers and students only. so having sites, blogs is good to come back and recall the information instead of going to hand writing papers which some times you didn't understand what wrote. also it help me about assessing students with less tired and know if i gave my students group work who worked and who didn't.
I wish to have a recording about every thing we took in this course. sometimes we cannot remember how to use all details in application we are going to use.
